This competition was launched a few years ago in memory of the AOTS founder the late, Nagaaki Yamamoto. This competition aims to recognize business organizations that have over a three-year period, made all round progress practicing Japanese Techniques of Management. Kaizen stands for small improvements sustained continually over a period of time.

The Panel of Evaluators look for consistency of organizational growth and management excellence using Key Performance Indicators as tools of measurement.
