In cherished memory of the founders of JASTECA, the late Ian Dias Abeysinghe, Late, Lal De Alwis and Late and Late, Bertie Kulatilake, JASTECA commenced a CSR fund to assist persons with physical and mental impairment in Sri Lanka. The following two initiatives are on-going under this project to offer a helping hand to these less fortunate segments of our society, the support they deserve:
A significant effort is silently being made by several of our members towards this cause. While we highly commend their noble generosity, we appeal to all the members to band together with JASTECA to provide these deserving people their most basic needs and to visit them in their secluded communities and put a smile on their faces. If you be a part of this worthy cause, together we can transform lives and build better future for the people need help. Your contribution will help support our organization's mission in uplifting the living standards of the deprived and under-privileged segments of the Sri Lankan society.
We, the Japan Sri Lanka Technical & Cultural Association, (JASTECA) are the sole Alumni Association of The Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTS), Japan in Sri Lanka. Our Association is formed of returned trainees from scholarship programs offered by AOTS. Thus, the returned, enlightened trainees are eligible to become members of Japan Sri Lanka Technical & Cultural Association (JASTECA).
